Welcome

Dear Friends,

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Welcome to St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church’s web home.

At St Mary’s, we preach the Christ in a Byzantine key. Faithful to the teachings on the apostles, we use 2,000 years of tradition to speak to the hearts of contemporary America.

Our vibrant liturgy engages the whole person in true worship of God. Our family-friendly parish community provides ample opporutnies to live the Christian life.

The Eparchy of Parma, a diocese of the Ruthenian Metropolia of Pittsburgh, is in full communion with Pope Francis, the Roman Catholic Church, and the other Eastern Catholic Churches. We worship in the Orthodox tradition as received from the Carpatho-Rusyn peoples of Eastern Europe, using the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Eucharist.

Any Catholic may fulfill his or her Sunday Obligation by attending our Divine Liturgy at 9am, and we welcome all people to come and join in the beauty of our worship! We look forward to seeing you in person.

Yours truly,

Fr. Andrew Summerson, S.Th.D. (cand.)
